About this model
Silat tradition. Mecha armour. One character.
The Mecha Silat Warrior is an original AI-assisted character inspired by silat — the Malay martial art — reimagined as a mechanised fighter. Traditional details like the tanjak headwrap and flowing sampin sit alongside segmented robotic armour, glowing visor, and a wide, grounded stance.
This is a display figurine intended to be printed, cleaned, primed, and hand-painted. The render shows a gold, deep red, and matte black colourway — but the final look is yours to decide.

Painting Notes
- Clean and cure resin prints, or sand FDM prints lightly before priming.
- Use two thin coats of grey primer before applying colour.
- Reference colourway: gold on fabric areas, deep red on armour panels, matte black for joints and details.
- A black wash into recesses adds depth. Dry-brush lighter gold on armour edges for a worn look.
- For the eyes, use an orange-red base with a bright white or yellow centre dot.
