The Creality K3 is now on pre-order at US$849 on Creality’s US store, with shipping estimated to begin on 2 November 2026, and Creality’s press release says the K3 is expected to be available in Europe in December. The price lands just under the “below $900” target Creality gave in its K3 FAQ at the end of September, and close to the US$850 that All3DP estimated after seeing the K3 at IFA.

As a short disclaimer, the K3 has not shipped at the time this article is written, so this article is based on Creality’s press release, the store listing and the K3 FAQ, not on hands-on use of the printer. Creality is also Domechy’s founding desktop 3D printer partner.

What Creality has confirmed

Item What Creality says
Pre-order price US$849 on the US store
US shipping Estimated to begin on 2 November 2026
Europe Expected in December 2026
Launch offer Four free rolls of Hyper PLA and free shipping on the official store, from 12 October to 30 November 2026
Store guarantee Three-month replacement guarantee listed on the US store
Optional kits Announced, not yet listed or priced

The 2 November date is Creality’s estimate for when shipping begins, around three weeks after pre-orders opened, so delivery dates will vary by region and by when the order was placed. The launch offer covers both the pre-order period and the first weeks of shipping, since it runs until the end of November.

The specification is the same as the one Creality published in September. The K3 is a CoreXY printer with a 260 × 260 × 260 mm build volume, a top speed of 500 mm/s, four nozzles on the KliTek system and four spool slots, and Creality claims a nozzle change of about five seconds and a full material change of under 15 seconds. The full spec sheet and Creality’s benchmark figures are in our K3 spec article.

What US$849 buys and what costs extra

The US$849 figure is for the printer itself, which the US store lists as a single option. It prints PLA, PETG, PET, PCTG and TPU 95A out of the box with four 0.4 mm nozzles, which is enough for four-colour or four-material printing with those materials.

Several of the K3’s headline features need accessories that Creality has announced but not yet listed or priced.

Feature What it needs
Mixed nozzle sizes The optional multi-nozzle kit
Softer TPU (90A, 85A) and soluble supports (BVOH, PVA) The optional multi-material kit
More than four colours The optional CFS Hub, which connects the K3 to Creality’s CFS

Creality’s FAQ is not consistent about what the multi-nozzle kit contains, since one answer describes 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 mm nozzles and another describes one assembly each in 0.2, 0.6 and 0.8 mm. We will wait for the store listing to confirm the contents. Until these kits have prices, the cost of a K3 set up for mixed nozzles, flexible materials or more colours is not known.

Where the price sits among nozzle-changing printers

The closest printer already on sale that also swaps nozzles rather than whole toolheads is Bambu Lab’s H2C, which Tom’s Hardware listed at US$2,399 in its January 2026 review. This places the K3 at a much lower price point, although the two are configured differently, with the H2C offering a larger build volume and up to seven filaments without colour-change purging against the K3’s four. Whether the K3 is better value can only be judged once independent reviews show how it prints, so the comparison here is about price positioning only.

The 800,000-cycle figure comes from Creality’s own testing

In September we noted that a durability figure of 80,000 swap cycles had been circulating since June without appearing on any Creality page. Both the FAQ and the press release now give Creality’s own figure, which is that the K3 kept nozzle-position repeatability within 25 µm after more than 800,000 nozzle changes in laboratory testing. That replaces the 80,000 figure, but it is a measure of positioning repeatability under Creality’s test conditions, and it does not yet establish how the mechanism holds up under everyday printing.

On a nozzle changer the docking and pick-up happen on every colour change, and the four-colour examples Creality published in September had between 1,182 and 1,358 colour changes each, all of which are nozzle swaps on the K3, so long-term reliability is something only owner reports will show. The press release also says the quick-swap nozzle assemblies cost up to a third less to replace than a full toolhead, although no replacement price has been listed yet.

Is it worth pre-ordering

Pre-ordering at US$849 qualifies buyers for the four-roll Hyper PLA launch offer, with US shipping expected to begin on 2 November, around three weeks after pre-orders opened. What a pre-order cannot tell you yet is how KliTek performs over months of use, since no independent reviews or owner reports exist before the first units ship.

For those of us in Malaysia, Creality has not announced Malaysian pricing or a regional shipping date, and the US price does not include shipping here or local taxes. Since the K3 includes Wi-Fi, official Malaysian distribution is also subject to the applicable MCMC equipment approval requirements, although Creality has not said whether this will affect its Malaysian launch timeline.

What to watch for next

The first thing to watch is the price and contents of the multi-nozzle kit, the multi-material kit and the CFS Hub. The second is Malaysian pricing and availability through Creality’s official channels. The third is the first independent reviews and owner reports once shipping starts in November. We will update this article when any of these are published.
