Experience on Printing plates

The 5 Type of print plate that i have experience with.

1) PEI plate

most printer come with this as default. 
adhesion :  good. Clean in 3 print is ok

print surface: coarse surface. Mcm wall surface.

2) smooth plate

normally would be high temp plate. Use for high temp filament like tpu.

Adhesion: stronger than PEI. Clean in 2 print.

Print result: smooth. Like paper smooth

3) starry surface effect plate

plate with effect straight fr printing and not design. 
adhesion: MUST clean before every print

peint result : smooth resin-like coating on surface with starry effect.

4) Carbon fibre surface efffect plate

adhesion: MUST clean before every print. increase plate temp to 65-70. 

peint result : Carbon fibre surface. More luxury feel.

5) Diamond surface effect plate 

adhesion: MUST clean before every print

peint result : smooth resin-like coating on surface with diamond effect.

from my experience, 
do buy the special effect plate. Very usefulness to print keychain, pins, logos. Gives the print additional attrativeness without any design works

Smooth plate and PEI plate for normal printing is sufficient.
